Measures the value of the loss you experience due to being deprived of the use of the asset. Specifically, the loss of transportation use of the vehicle.

In addition, the measure of property damage may include a reasonable allowance for Loss of Use of the vehicle. Measured as the reasonable rental rate (fair market rental cost) of a comparable vehicle to the loss vehicle for the time period necessary to make reasonable repairs.

The Loss of Use report utilizes the repair estimate, damage sustained, inventory of parts, along with local rental rates in order to provide comprehensive conclusions as to the measure of monetary damages at-fault third parties are liable to pay in addition to property damage, caused by a car accident.


The Appraisal provides evidence of the rental cost of similar vehicles as evidence of the rental value of the loss vehicle for Client recovery.
