Measures the amount of revenue lost that would have received using a specialty/commercial vehicle, but for the inability to use the asset for an amount of time due to the accident (repairs), and there is not a reasonably comparable replacement asset available in your fleet to take its place.

Using the vehicle itself for revenue, not for general transportation. Vehicles including but not limited to: trade, service, cranes, powerline trucks, trucks, step vans, tractor trailers, etc.

If your fleet driver was not-at-fault for the vehicle accident, based on the surrounding factors, in addition to recovery for the physical damage of the asset, you are entitled to recover for Loss of Revenue.

When your asset/specialty vehicle was involved in an accident caused by a third party and the specialty vehicle is out of service, Loss of Revenue is monetary recovery for profits lost during the downtime while the asset is being repaired.

MEASURES: the revenue loss experienced by the client while the specialty vehicle was unavailable for use. The income the asset generated prior to the accident to the amount of revenue it would have generated but did not, due to being deprived of the use of the asset for specified amount of time. Specifically, the loss of revenue generating activities/ use of the specialty vehicle.


The Appraisal provide evidence of Loss of Revenue damages owed when a replacement asset is unavailable in the fleet for Client recovery.

Scope

The scope of this appraisal is limited to the loss of revenue, if any, generated by the use of this specific specialty vehicle as a result of the inability to secure a replacement on the Date of Loss until the availability of a replacement or the specialty vehicle, in accordance with State Law.
